About me
Hello there, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I own a practice driven by empathy, emotional connection and a purpose to support you on your healing journey.
Were you raised in a household where your parents yelled, were abusive, abused substances or had poor boundaries? Did you grow up feeling anxious, not knowing what to expect from one day to the next? Are you fearful you will repeat the behaviors of your parents and your kids will grow up in a similar environment to yours?
I have nine years of professional experience. I specialize in helping families break away from unhealthy interactions and patterns from traumas like physical, emotional, sexual, domestic abuse, substance abuse and death/grief. I help families (children, parents and couples) identify the family dynamics that cause the issues, develop healthier boundaries and decrease the impact of these experience.
I work with complex-post traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, individuals, couples, children and families together. I thrive on the complex cases that deserve more attention. When working with me you will be challenged, listened to and met with unconditional empathy.

About my practice (A Home Within)
Home within is about feeling calm and content within yourself. Within the therapeutic process with me you may develop a sense of comfort and calm amidst your current emotional distress or challenge you are facing. You may learn how to feel safe within yourself. You will hopefully learn to love your whole self. This includes all the parts that you have not yet connected with, feel negative about or are being held in your subconscious because these parts or experiences are scary. Within your growth you will hopefully learn to accept, process and or move on from these experiences that have hurt you. Or experiences that keep you feeling stuck. To help you feel comfort within yourself when you may not feel comfort or safe with in the world. You are and you have all we need to thrive.
